Το Τραγούδι βασίζεται σε μια πραγματική τραγική ιστορία,  ή οποία έλαβε  χώρα το έτος 1936 στην Παλαιομάνινα (Μάνια) Ακαρνανίας.

Αναφέρεται στην δολοφονία του Καλόγηρου, Κήτας Λούτσος από αρχαιοκάπηλους, πιστεύοντας ότι έχει βρει ένα σταυρό από χρυσό. 

Μάρτυρες στο Δικαστήριο ψευδόρκησαν ώστε να φυλακιστούν δύο αθώα άτομα. 

Την ώρα του θανάτου ο πραγματικός φονιάς ξομολογήθηκε την αλήθεια στον Παπά και έτσι αποφυλακίστηκαν οι αθώοι.

The song is based on a true tragic story which took place in 1936 in village  Mania.

It refers to the assassination of the monk Kitas Loutsos,  illicit trader of antiquities  

who believed that he had fund a Cross made of gold. Witnesses gave false

testimonies in Court and two Innocent persons were imprisoned.

At the time of his death the real murderer confessed the truth to the parish Priest

and so the innocent persons were released from prison.

Das Lied beruht sich auf eine wirkliche  tragische Geschichte, die im Jahr 1936 in

Dorf  Mania stattgefunden hat. Es bezieht sich auf den Mord  von Mönch Kitas Loutsos

von Verbrecher (Schwarzhändler von Antiquitäten), die glaubten, dass er sich im Besitz

eines goldenen Kreuzes befand. Zeugen beim Gericht haben Meineid geleistet, somit

wurden zwei unschuldige Bürger zur Gefängnisstrafe verurteilt.  Der wahre Mörder hat

bei seinen Todesstunden die Wahrheit beim Priester gebeichtet, sodann wurden die

Unschuldigen aus dem Gefängnis entlassen.
